U-20 World Cup : Stadium ruins deserved red card
Angry football fans QBE Stadium showed World Cup red card on the first day of the u-20 with complaints about "Chaos" inside and outside the venue.

Fans complained about traffic jams, parking problems and queues in Albany ground winds. The flagship Stadium host the semi-finals, final and the third place playoff.

People were complaining that delays were so bad, that they not able to get to play in New Zealand Ukraine until five minutes before half-time to see. Former New Zealand football Chief Grant McKavanagh said QBE stadium was notoriously difficult, when it came to traffic management.

"they have still have major problems with the traffic. They had always been. When I ran games out there, there are problems only 3,000 people once in on time.

"People ended up in the traffic for half an hour wait and wants but also with people out."

"The way the stadium is built, everyone is the same place out wants to and it just what." I don't know how to solve it. Maybe they need it a one way system."

Among those caught in the traffic was Herald reporter Steve Deane, who with a group of 11 parents and children were on the tournament, but safe traffic meant that they come up to 40 minutes in the game not.

"We almost the entire first half tries, because to miss the traffic," said Deane.

"It was just terrible. We tried to eat at half-time and the queues were terrible."

He sat in traffic for an hour after the game ended and made his group yet still not on the highway.

"The only salvation with North Harbour stadium is that there is no one. If you get an event where it is sold out, it is not grown, '' he said.

McIvor said he expected FIFA unhappy with the stadium be "embarrassing" operation last night. "The people expect reasonable service."

Auckland transport said it would bus services but accused to check travel and an accident on the highway for the delays.

The World Cup's local organizing Committee said that it would see improvements before the stadium's next game on Tuesday.
